The Peralta system has an extremely bad disabled student program. Disabled students have to re-apply for accommodations for each class by going to each professor with forms. That means having to fill out 4 forms with 4 professors, and then the professors themselves have to stay late after tests for extended time. The disabled students offices don't explain what accommodations are available, and there are usually a lot of subtle complaints about the expense of accommodations, and stress reactions from professors. Negotiating an alternate test taking location to avoid having to be watched as the other is a rough process that is not guaranteed and often rejected.

College of Alameda had the most aggressive groper I encountered in the Peralta system, and when I did the interviews after, the person supervising the interviews started standing on the toes of another staffer and pressing himself on her.
